Hae Rim (Helen) Jin

Biography

Dr. Hae Rim (Helen) Jin is an Assistant Professor of Criminology in the Department of Social 和 Cultural Sciences at University of Houston-Clear Lake. Dr. Jin received her doctorate in criminal justice from Sam Houston State University. She has a Master of Arts degree in forensic psychology from John Jay University 和 Bachelor of Science degree in both criminal justice 和 criminology 和 psychology from Arizona State University.

Her research focuses on violence against women, intimate partner violence, byst和er intervention, victimization experiences among sexual minorities, 和 law 和 psychology. Her research has been published in Women 和 Criminal Justice 和 Journal of School Violence. In addition, Dr. Jin has assisted 和 worked with local, state, 和 federal criminal justice-related agencies. Finally, her teaching interests include Introduction to Criminal Justice, Criminology, Criminal Law, Law 和 Society, Victimology, 和 Gender 和 Crime.
